Dried Figs
Dried figs can be eaten as is, or rehydrated after boiling in water. Dried figs are very high in sugar, the fruit being left on the tree for longer to allow the fuit to ripen for longer and more sugar to develop. Figs are rich in calcium, manganese and potassium. They also have vitamin K and a lots of fibre.
