Clementine
Clementines are a small, type of mandarin orange. Its origins are disputed, with some claiming it was grown in China long before being 'discovered' in Algeria in 1902. Like all oranges the clementine splits easily into segments, and is nearly always seedless. It also has a very thin skin that is easy to peel off. Most clementines are imported from Spain.
Clementines are a a good source of fibre, thiamine, folate and potassium, and a very good source of vitamin C.
